For those who did not pass, it’s time to start thinking about February 2017.

For repeat takers taking the February 2017 bar exam you should start preparing now. You must retain a bar exam tutor. Trying and preparing the same way has produced negative results. Repeat takers pass at a percentage lower than 35%. Why risk this result again? Ask yourself where you would be if you failed again in February?  Don’t gamble with your profession.  Retain a Bar Professors’ bar exam tutor to help you pass in February 2017.

The July 2016 Bar Exam: Important Advice for Foreign Educated Lawyers Who Repeat the New York UBE Bar Exam

Posted in Uncategorized on October 26, 2016 by barprofs

The bar exam results for February 2016 indicated that foreign educated lawyers passed at a first time rate of 34% and that all foreign educated lawyers passed at a 30% rate. In July 2015 from the foreign educated lawyers passed at a first time rate of 42%, and all foreign educated lawyers passed at a 33% rate.

As can be seen, the pass rate is dismal for foreign educated lawyers. That’s why, before sitting for a bar exam, foreign educated lawyers need a Bar Professors’ bar tutor. Working with a tutor will dramatically improve your chances of passing. Write, write and write some more. An applicant needs to learn to write on the bar exam subjects to both understand the law and to develop a writing structure. Memorize the law “cold” because you have a built in language barrier. You do not have the time to think about the law, you must know it. Above all else, start early.  Bar Professors has a specialized tutoring service especially for foreign educated lawyers.

Bar Professors offer private tutoring for ESL students and foreign educated lawyers for the UBE, New York, California and Georgia bar exams.

The statistics say you must get help. Contact Bar Professors  now and we can help you with the February 2017 bar exam.  You owe it to your future.  Bar Professors can help you succeed.

The July 2016 Bar Exam: The MBE Scores Are Still Extremely Low and the Repeat Bar Exam Takers Are in Trouble

Posted in Uncategorized on October 25, 2016 by barprofs

The national mean score on the MBE for July 2016  is 140.3 – statistically the same from last year. The July 2015 results were down 1.6 points from the previous year, to 139.9, its lowest point since 1988. The mean scaled score on the February administration of the MBE fell to 135, down 1.2 points from the previous year and the lowest average score on a February administration of the test since 1983. That is a 33 year low for the MBE.

The NCBE believes the downward trend is likely to continue..

We have seen much lower MBE scores since the implementation of civil procedure to the MBE. In addition, the NCBE has increased its experimental questions from 10 to 25, which makes each question of higher value.  And finally, the NCBE is making changes to the property questions effective this February. We will see the effects of these changes for the February 2017 bar exam.

These changes and low scores mean disaster to the repeat taker. As we know, repeat takers score consistently lower on the MBE than first time takers.  With these changes, repeat takers need help to increase their scores. Bar Professors are experts in helping repeat takers increase their MBE scores with our analytical and reasoning approach..

Bar Professors provides one-on-one private tutoring for repeat takers.

Arizona, South Carolina, New Jersey, Washington, DC, and New York are all UBE states.  Arizona, South Carolina’s bar exam results are all out.  We are still waiting for Washington, DC and New York to be released.  Both bar exam sites say that it will be in November.

It won’t be easy for repeat takers to retake the UBE exam. For those in New Jersey and South Carolina, it will be the first time the UBE is tested.  For DC and New York, February 2017 will be only the 2nd time the UBE is tested.

The pass rate for the states that use the UBE have been astonishingly low.  We have seen most UBE states in the 60 – 65% and lower range.  The UBE is not as easy as we might think it is.

Early preparation is the key to learning the UBE and its testing methods.

Bar Professors’ special UBE program is designed for working professionals. Early preparation will allow you sufficient time to learn the new material and be prepared for February

Bar Professors has developed a rigorous program for bar exam takers, addressing the writing techniques of short answer essays of the Multistate Essay Examination (MEE) and the Uniform Bar Examination (UBE) with critical feedback. This feedback is important for the repeat bar takers’ overall improvement.

Bar Professors provides one-on-one substantive lectures on all subjects with practice questions and critiques, and methods and procedures to improve your essay scores.

Bar Professors is preparing classes now for jump-starting your UBE study.  Our early bird study schedule provides an easy start to those professionals who work full time to have enough time to prepare.

New classes are starting now for the UBE.
